About North Valley Baptist Church

North Valley Baptist Church is an independent, fundamental, Bible-believing Baptist Church serving the north side of Phoenix, Arizona. We use the King James Version of the Bible in all of our Sunday school classes and from the pulpit.

Outreach is the focus of North Valley Baptist Church. We believe that God has given us the responsibility to lead others away from sin and to the Savior. We do this through one-on-one soul winning and through the preaching and teaching of the gospel.

Our responsibility to spread the gospel does not end in our own city of Phoenix but extends to the "uttermost parts of the earth." Therefore, we support many missionaries who carry the gospel of Jesus Christ to people groups all across the world. These missionaries are supported through our Faith Promise commitments.

We believe that every member should have a ministry at the church. God has given every believer spiritual gifts and natural talents, and they are to be used for the edifying of the church and to the glory of God.

We strive to live a separated life in an ungodly culture. We do not compromise with those who would desire that we lay aside "sound doctrine" in order to have fellowship. We believe that God will judge us according to every command found in the Scripture.

Fellowship is a vital part of our church life. Our lives are intertwined by a common desire to serve the Lord, and our time together is a wonderful way in which to build each other up and bear one another's burdens. It has been said by many of our visitors that North Valley is a very friendly church, and we hope you will discover this to be true.

Our music is designed for praise and worship, not entertainment. We believe that the genuine praise of the saints has a special ability to move the heart of God, as well as lift up the spirits of those who are burdened with cares.

We understand that tomorrow's future begins with the teaching and training of today's youth. Therefore our youth ministers have a fervent desire to see young people give their hearts to Christ and to surrender to God's will in every aspect of their lives.
